About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate on profiling and optimizing AI algorithms, frameworks, and software architectures for performance and accuracy
- Reproduce real-world production AI inference workloads and develop representative workload profiles
- Conduct performance analysis across software and hardware stacks, identifying system bottlenecks
- Translate workload insights to support hardware/software co-design initiatives for AI systems
- Assist in applied research and integration of hardware/software solutions for advanced AI systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in the domain, showcasing skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience
- Proficiency in Python programming for experimentation and development
- Fundamental knowledge of AI algorithms, models, and workload development
- Familiarity with AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Basic understanding of computer architecture concepts, performance analysis, and profiling techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment
- Interest in AI systems research and real-world AI applications across diverse domains
