Key responsibilities & impact

Provide Level 2 technical support for database systems and data loader processes
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in critical production environments
Maintain database systems and monitor data flow processes
Collaborate with end-users and cross-functional teams on database performance challenges and operational bottlenecks
Use Agile frameworks and ITIL/incident management processes for problem resolution
Support 24x7 operational environments, including 12-hour day shifts
Implement procedures and solutions to follow system protocols and improve operational efficiency
Use automated monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve technical issues
Work on Shift 5: 12-hour days, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday

What you’ll need

Associate of Science in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields
1+ years of experience with relational database technologies and database engineering or database administration support
1+ years of experience with automated monitoring and alerting systems
5+ years of experience providing operational support in a factory automation environment
Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL database administration
Understanding of tables, indexes, views, or stored procedures
Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance metrics
Availability for 12-hour day shifts based on compressed work week schedules
