About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical engagements with Microsoft Azure to co-engineer solutions using Intel Xeon processors and accelerators
- Drive account management through cross-functional, cross-company teams, from stakeholder influence and joint value propositions through proofs of concept and full-scale deployments
- Align first-party and third-party workload opportunities with Intel technology, Azure's roadmap, and customer needs
- Optimize AI, analytics, database, and other key workloads for Intel platforms to demonstrate performance and TCO advantages
- Troubleshoot technical issues involving Azure's use of Intel hardware and coordinate with internal engineering teams
- Build trusted relationships with Microsoft stakeholders as a technical advisor and advocate for Intel
- Influence Azure's roadmap by aligning Intel's product strategy with Microsoft's infrastructure and service plans
- Track competitive trends involving AMD, NVIDIA, and ARM and position Intel's value proposition
- Collaborate with Microsoft engineering, sales, and marketing teams and internal Intel stakeholders
- Drive Intel business on Azure through customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and workload optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in technical roles, such as systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical program management
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of datacenter and cloud infrastructure, including CPUs, accelerators, networking, and virtualization
- Experience with workload performance tuning, telemetry analysis, and system-level optimization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience working directly with Microsoft Azure or other hyperscale cloud providers
- Familiarity with Intel Xeon architecture, firmware (BIOS/BMC), and platform-level features
- Knowledge of AMD EPYC, NVIDIA GPUs, and ARM-based solutions
- Experience in co-engineering or joint solution development with large enterprise customers
- Background in AI/ML, confidential computing, or workload acceleration technologies
- Must live and work from the United States
