About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enable EDA vendor tools for RC extraction, including StarRC, Quantus, and xACT, on Intel process technologies
- Enable electromigration tools for high-frequency analysis
- Work with technology specification owners and validation teams to ensure high-quality solutions
- Interact with EDA vendors to enable new features and customized solutions
- Develop solutions at the intersection of semiconductor technology development and advanced computing
- Provide customer support and debugging for RC extraction
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or MS degree with 5+ years of experience, or PhD degree with 2+ years of experience in EE/ECE or related field
- 3+ years of experience in RC extraction flow enablement such as StarRC, Quantus, or SMNS-xACT, with Perl, Python, or TCL scripting; or interconnect stack development for EDA tools such as ITF, ICT, MIPT, or EM stack, with Perl, Python, or TCL scripting
- 3+ years of experience in DRC/LVS runset development or validation such as Calibre, Pegasus, or ICV
- Experience with customer support and debugging in RC extraction
- Experience with high-frequency tools such as Keysight Momentum, Ansys, or Cadence EMX
- Experience with JIRA and GIT
- Proficiency with CMOS process technology
- Experience with electromagnetic modeling and simulation tools for signal integrity/crosstalk analysis
- Experience working with EDA tool vendors to enable customized solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
