About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with U.S. Government program managers and Intel teams to translate mission objectives and technology concepts into actionable acquisition and execution strategies
  • Develop and guide acquisition plans identifying required activities, decision points, control gates, stakeholders, documentation, funding considerations, and contracting paths
  • Advise Intel teams on how Department of Defense acquisition and contracting processes affect opportunity strategy, customer engagement, capture, and program execution
  • Serve as a key interface across government program offices, contracting organizations, technical stakeholders, Intel business units, and Intel Government Technologies teams
  • Develop repeatable frameworks, tools, and best-known methods to improve acquisition readiness
  • Provide senior leaders with assessments of acquisition status, critical decisions, execution risks, and actions required to advance priority opportunities
  • Move initiatives from strategic intent through solicitation, contract award, and successful execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Materials Science, Business, Public Administration, or Administrative Management
  • US citizenship required
  • Active US Government, TS or Q Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access
  • DAWIA Level II or III certification in Program Management, Contracting, Acquisition, or a related acquisition career field, or equivalent certification through the Defense Acquisition University, Defense Systems Management College, War University, or a comparable institution
  • Significant leadership experience across government acquisition, technology strategy, program execution, systems architecture, semiconductor technology, foundry services, advanced packaging, or mission-critical electronic systems
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing acquisition plans and moving initiatives through government decision and control gates
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging senior government officials, acquisition professionals, industry partners, technical leaders, and corporate executives
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
  • Preferred: Ability to lead large, complex, matrixed efforts across engineering, research, foundry, business development, capture, contracting, and program execution
  • Preferred: Experience aligning customer requirements, business strategy, product roadmaps, and technology investment priorities across multiple business units or equivalent large-scale organizations
  • Preferred: Experience working directly with Department of Defense program executive offices, program managers, contracting officers, technical representatives, laboratories, or research organizations
  • Preferred: Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Cost Accounting Standards, and other regulations governing U.S. Government-funded contracts
  • Preferred: Success creating acquisition roadmaps, operating models, governance mechanisms, or repeatable business processes
  • Preferred: Experience managing strategic pipelines, programs of record, or customer portfolios requiring coordinated execution across government and industry
  • Consent to and successful completion of an extended Background Investigation
