About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support equipment performance and operations on day shift as a compressed work week shift engineer
  • Troubleshoot and provide operational support for automation applications, systems, and software running in Intel's factories
  • Provide next-level support for certain applications across Intel's worldwide factory network
  • Participate in project work, including insertion activity hardening and CIP software development
  • Present issues and drive solutions using formal education and judgment
  • Produce results in a timely manner and adjust to rapidly changing priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields
  • 6+ months of experience with scripting and related activities, including SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • 6+ months of experience in current IT technologies, including Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, Icloud, VMWare, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced with AI usage
  • Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clear messages during troubleshooting/swat bridges and provide written updates on findings/investigations to factory users
  • Ability to multitask and support across a broad range of applications
  • Willingness to work a compressed work schedule: CWW Days - AM to PM, Sun-Tues + alternate Wed (12-hour shifts)
