About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize activities across planning roles to ensure timely and accurate inputs into supply chain planning systems within monthly and weekly business planning cadences
- Collaborate with Data Stewards, Operational Process Owners and IT to ensure model quality and timely POR and ad hoc solve runs
- Perform post-solve output analysis and provide go/no-go recommendations after POR solve runs
- Provide insights to cross-functional teams to support data and process optimization and what-if scenario planning
- Troubleshoot model output anomalies and identify fixes or improvements for planning stakeholders
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues and work with Solutions teams on system and business corrective actions
- Govern factors impacting model behavior and outcomes, including routing setups, BOM preferences, inventory strategy, business rules and control tables
- Drive planning model alignment with best practices and provide analytical support, training and facilitation for planning parameters
- Ensure critical data insights are accessible and reliable for planning stakeholders
- Develop and improve frameworks for assessing model quality
- Develop and improve methods and processes to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Translate Intel product technology complexities into supply chain needs and requirements for Solutions teams
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet supply chain goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, operations research, industrial engineering or a related field
- 3+ years' experience managing complex supply chain planning models in semiconductor manufacturing, including multi-chip, multi-level DLCPs
- 3+ years of relevant experience building and implementing models through algorithms and simulations
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, postponement models, network and routing optimization, cost-to-serve analysis, and supply chain metrics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including root cause investigations
- Data storytelling and visualization experience
- Experience implementing lean project initiatives
- Willingness to drive change
- This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship
- Preferred: Knowledge of Intel's Product Data Management, Product profiles and Supply Chain Network
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Blue Yonder ESP, IBP or SCP
- Preferred: Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulations
- Preferred: Demand and Supply Planning domain experience
- Preferred: Time Series Statistical Techniques and ML Algorithms
