About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, build, and scale Intel's Data Center System and Manageability Software Portfolio
- Lead strategy and execution for system software, firmware, telemetry, and out-of-band/in-band manageability capabilities for Intel Datacenter GPUs
- Define multi-generational product roadmaps across data center GPU products
- Partner with silicon, platform hardware, firmware, OS, and cloud software engineering teams on architectural dependencies and release schedules
- Drive technical discovery with cloud service providers, enterprise customers, and OEMs/ODMs
- Translate infrastructure operational pain points into product requirements and PRDs
- Champion standard-based manageability and telemetry pipelines for hyperscale platforms
- Own lifecycle from PRD generation and engineering sprint prioritization through platform bring-up, validation, security patching, and end-of-life planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of total experience
- 4+ years dedicated to technical product management in data center infrastructure, server platforms, or systems software
- Deep expertise in server architecture, BMC firmware (OpenBMC), UEFI/BIOS, RAS, out-of-band management, and platform security (Root of Trust, SPDM)
- Familiarity with DMTF Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and PCIe / CXL manageability standards
- Success taking complex system software or platform firmware solutions from concept to high-volume production deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience
- Practical experience designing manageability tools for hyperscale data centers or HCI
- Engagement with open-source firmware and hardware initiatives such as OCP and Linux Foundation
- Background in edge-to-cloud telemetry streaming, platform health modeling, or predictive failure analysis using machine learning
