About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources for defect mode understanding and yield modeling
- Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and construct process development roadmaps
- Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using advanced statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques
- Organize and interpret fab process, defect, and electrical data; identify anomalies and drive process changes
- Develop multivariate algorithms and tools to identify root-cause yield limiters and recommend process changes
- Collaborate with design teams to resolve yield issues and ensure manufacturability
- Execute new product introductions and enable design-technology co-optimization
- Participate in design of experiments with factory task forces
- Develop measurement recipes for rapid product-integrity feedback
- Create and harden systems for leading-edge logic nodes with equipment vendors and internal collaborators
- Develop AI/ML applications and computational tools connecting design and manufacturing
- Document technical procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and procedural failures in production environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ph.D. in semiconductor science-related STEM degree in engineering, physical science, computer science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in advanced semiconductor devices and process flow
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with data analysis systems and software tools
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in yield projection with EOL signals and in-line parameters
- Preferred: Project/program management experience
- Preferred: Proven track record working across organizations through matrix structures
