Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create an executable software model that simulates IP and SoC hardware
  • Enable architectural exploration and pre-silicon firmware development and validation
  • Design, implement, and test models
  • Develop infrastructure
  • Provide customer support
  • Work alongside experienced engineers to solve new and interesting problems
  • Contribute to custom silicon solutions
  • Participate in development and debugging across a wide range of tasks
  • Use industry-standard and emerging technologies, tools, and processes
  • Attend occasional face-to-face meetings in the Vancouver area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ months of experience in knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies
  • 3+ months of experience with programming languages such as C/C++
  • Relevant experience may be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to learn
  • General knowledge of embedded systems, digital ASIC design, and software/firmware development and testing methodology is an asset
  • Must live and work in Canada
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
  • Position is for undergraduate co-op students
