Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and deliver next-generation simulation and virtual-platform solutions for system-on-chip designs across multiple generations of AI products
Establish strategy and methodology for virtual-platform development
Drive technical development using deep expertise in computer architecture, C++, and Python
Use advanced AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot for development and verification of IP models
Deliver first-pass silicon success through best-in-class virtual platforms
Enable early software development
Lead the Virtual Platform Team within Intel’s AI SOC group

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience
4+ years of experience managing a highly technical team
4+ years of experience in subsystem and SoC-level development, analysis, and understanding of AI software stack
4+ years of hands-on coding proficiency in C/C++, Python, and build systems
Track record of developing and delivering highly configurable and reusable software collateral
Experience in developing simulation models, virtual platforms, and performance models for architecture, micro-architecture, and early software enabling
Demonstrated experience collaborating with software and verification teams is preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering on-time, high-quality pre-silicon development environments and establishing technical standards is preferred
