About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify root cause yield limiters and drive solutions that enhance manufacturability and yield across technology nodes
  • Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources for defect mode understanding and yield modeling
  • Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and construct process development roadmaps to drive technology yield milestones
  • Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using advanced statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques
  • Organize and interpret fab process, defect, and electrical data; identify anomalies and drive process changes for yield enhancement
  • Develop multivariate algorithms and tools to identify root cause yield limiters and recommend process changes
  • Collaborate with design teams to resolve yield issues and ensure manufacturability before production ramp
  • Execute new product introductions, enable design-technology co-optimization, and participate in design of experiments with factory task forces
  • Develop measurement recipes for rapid feedback on product integrity and address yield or product quality issues
  • Create and harden systems for leading-edge logic nodes with equipment vendors and internal collaborators
  • Develop AI/ML applications and computational tools connecting design and manufacturing, improving design efficiency and reducing debug time
  • Document technical procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and procedural failures in production environments
