About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join IntelliRad Imaging’s private practice group as a partnership-track interventional radiologist
Work a hybrid IR/DR schedule, typically approximately 70% interventional radiology shifts and 30% diagnostic radiology shifts
Perform interventional radiology procedures, including interventional oncology and endovascular procedures
Read general diagnostic exams between IR cases as time permits
Work some diagnostic shifts from home based on scheduling needs
Help grow the interventional radiology service line through community referrals and improved hospital physician relations
Serve as an ambassador for IntelliRad Imaging and its interventional radiology service line
Teach residents in the GME radiology residency program
Collaborate with advanced practice providers who perform inpatient and emergency department consultations and round on IR patients
Participate in a growing outpatient clinic presence
Contribute to clinical performance, patient and hospital staff satisfaction, and practice development for partnership consideration
Use the unified PACS and worklist across affiliated hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Board certified/board eligible in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABMS-BC/BE)
Fellowship-trained in interventional radiology
MD or DO diploma
If board eligible, must have a plan in place to sit for Boards
Active and unencumbered medical license with eligibility for licensure in Florida
Competent in all aspects of diagnostic radiology
Comfortable with all aspects of interventional radiology, including interventional oncology and endovascular procedures
Willing to read general diagnostic exams in between IR cases as time permits
Fully engaged in teaching residents
Practice-building mindset and willingness to develop community referrals and physician relations
Fun, team player
