About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act strategically to transform data into relevant business information
- Support decision-making through data analysis, structuring, and governance
- Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams
- Support the definition and execution of quality testing strategies for software development projects
- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases and scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies with development teams
- Participate in the early stages of projects by reviewing requirements and documentation to ensure quality from the start of development (Shift Left Testing)
- Prepare and review test plans, test cases, and results reports
- Analyze test results and present recommendations to improve system quality
- Work in partnership with Development, Product, and Operations teams
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level professionals by sharing software quality best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Assurance (QA) processes, methodologies, and tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Production Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including complex query development, performance optimization, stored procedure creation, and handling large volumes of data
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and integrating data from different sources, such as databases, APIs, files, and cloud environments
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages for data manipulation, processing, and automation
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, management reports, and performance indicators
- Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions, with an understanding of KPIs, SLAs, and operational processes
- Analytical and consultative mindset, with experience engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, conducting meetings, and presenting results
- Experience with Machine Learning, applied statistics, or predictive models
- Technical English proficiency for reading and interpreting documentation
- Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), information security, and sensitive data protection
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
