Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor lot start notifications and create new sales orders in ERP
Create job jacket files using established checklists to gather required lot documentation
Review job jacket documents and perform comprehensive sales order audits before install release
Calculate and enter correct revenue on sales orders
Verify customer purchase orders align with written sales agreements and buyer selections
Ensure sales order margin is within tolerance and investigate and resolve variances
Verify post-installation revenue and margin, including additional installation costs
Coordinate with customers, sales teams, finance, and operations to resolve purchase order and cost issues
Escalate issues and hold sales orders from release when directed
Maintain job documents in document storage systems
Track sales orders with purchase order or cost issues in ERP
Provide management updates on sales order issue resolution
Release sales orders to Finance for revenue recognition and invoice transmittal
Support ad hoc reporting, operational requests, training, onboarding, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll need

Homebuilding or construction industry experience preferred
Experience in quality review, reconciliation, audit, or similar transaction-based review roles preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Extreme attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Intermediate Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Patience, positive attitude, and ability to think with a “big picture” mindset
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and manage interpersonal relationships effectively
