About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the execution of assigned projects
- Coordinate different subcontractors
- Ensure all required materials arrive at the customer's site
- Organize personnel, materials, and other resources on site daily
- Create and provide scheduled quality reports and status reports regarding the project
- Communicate issues that arise on site
- Oversee labor at the project site
- Coordinate project material and follow plans and prints for installation of automated equipment at the job site
- Communicate with the project manager regarding additional workers needed and important updates or site issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of related experience
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
- Ability to lead a variety of workers at different levels
- Ability to travel mostly domestically and to Canada for work, 100% of the time
- Good MS Word and MS Excel skills
- Responsible, results-oriented, trustworthy, and able to accomplish project objectives on time, safely, and with integrity
- Excellent communication skills
