Campus Project Director

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee complete execution and delivery of multi-facility clean energy campuses designed to power Google data centers
- Lead complex buildouts encompassing utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, high-voltage substations, and transmission infrastructure
- Serve as the single point of accountability for site performance, vendor integration, and executive reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, asset management, executive leadership, EPC partners, and hyperscale client stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end site delivery across multi-facility energy campuses
- Manage and mentor Campus Project Managers and serve as their primary escalation point
- Establish site governance, schedule baselines, and budget oversight across simultaneous projects
- Use Terabase Construct and AI Clearing to track site progress, optimize craft sequencing, and ensure quality
- Oversee integration of high-voltage substations, interconnection facilities, and generation assets
- Troubleshoot engineering, procurement, and field bottlenecks to maintain commercial operation timelines
- Evaluate natural gas power integration options where applicable
- Produce executive-ready slide decks and deliver strategic briefings on campus health, risks, and milestones
- Maintain relationships with EPC firms, equipment vendors, utilities, and local regulatory authorities
- Enforce safety programs across campus sites
- Manage capital expenditure, change orders, and contract compliance using Stampli and internal financial tools
- Use Claude and Gemini to streamline reporting, executive briefing preparation, and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of project management experience in power generation
- 3+ years specifically as a Project Director leading utility-scale clean energy projects
- Proven track record delivering complex campus-scale builds featuring solar, wind, BESS, and high-voltage scope
- Natural gas experience is a plus
- Ability to synthesize complex technical challenges and produce executive-level presentation decks for C-suite leadership and external client stakeholders
- Proficiency with Terabase Construct, AI Clearing, Stampli, Lucidchart, G Suite, Claude, and Gemini
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to active campus sites with a minimum once-a-month onsite footprint
- Adaptable leadership style focused on cross-functional alignment and field enablement
