About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop the product vision and roadmap for checkout, payment, and order processing
  • Identify checkout friction points and derive measurable hypotheses and optimization initiatives
  • Continuously improve checkout and payment processes
  • Integrate new payment providers and payment methods
  • Optimize payment success, order completion, and cancellation processes with a focus on conversion and customer experience
  • Collaborate with relevant teams on fraud prevention
  • Further develop cross-channel and omnichannel processes such as Click & Collect
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and data
  • Manage relevant checkout, payment, and order KPIs
  • Use A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback for continuous optimization
  • Work closely with Engineering, UX, Data, and adjacent product teams
  • Take ownership from problem identification through to a production-ready solution
  • Develop a Unified Commerce Platform that connects online and offline channels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in digital product management, ideally in an e-commerce, marketplace, or platform environment
  • Experience with checkout, payment, or order processes and their continuous optimization
  • Strong knowledge of CRO, A/B testing, and data-driven product development
  • Excellent understanding of product and business KPIs, with experience using analytics or experimentation tools
  • Experience with prioritization, backlog management, and stakeholder management
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams in Engineering, UX, and Data
  • Strong analytical skills, a high degree of ownership, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Nice to have: Experience with payment integrations, payment methods, or fraud prevention
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of omnichannel or cross-channel ordering, such as Click & Collect
  • Nice to have: Understanding of inventory and availability logic in checkout
  • Nice to have: Experience in retail, sports, or consumer products
  • 40 hours per week, full-time
