Modify models, data, or drawing sets based on direction from others
Communicate with internal and external teams using virtual and in-person collaboration tools
Apply model and scope changes by adjusting deliverables as required
Document and archive revisions according to established procedures
Follow project workflows and agreed-upon standards to meet deliverable requirements and schedules
Perform self-checks to identify and correct major errors and deviations from best practices
Assist in peer reviewing others’ work for compliance with established standards
Self-perform advanced design tasks with direction
Provide continuous improvement suggestions for tools and processes
Work directly with manufacturing and construction teams to deliver constructable design

Requirements

What you’ll need

A high school diploma or an applicable associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical college is required
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a virtual design, construction, or related technical field are preferred
A combination of relevant education and hands-on experience will also be considered in place of formal education requirements
Foundational experience with virtual modeling software, construction documentation, or technical design applications that support virtual design and construction processes
Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements; travel should not exceed 15%
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Ability to communicate effectively using virtual and in-person collaboration tools
