About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with various company departments to initiate and support the development of new products and processes
  • Review existing processes and equipment to find ways to increase quality and efficiency
  • Create and review manufacturing process documentation, including assembly procedures and molding inspection documentation
  • Source, design, qualify, and assist in maintaining manufacturing equipment such as injection molding machines and testing/inspection fixtures
  • Support molding and assembly teams in resolving production issues and delays
  • Train staff in new or improved processes and equipment
  • Draft, perform, and finalize verification/validation documentation
  • Perform other assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor or designee

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical school or 2-3 years related experience
  • 2-3 years related manufacturing and plastic injection molding experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to review and interpret technical prints
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to think and work proactively
  • Experience in ultrasonic welding, automation, technical writing, and PLC programming
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Additional on-the-job training provided
