Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain scalable, full-stack web applications using Laravel on the back end and React/Vue on the front end
Contribute to architecture decisions, including service design, data modeling, caching, and queue-based processing
Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems
Develop reusable Laravel packages and front-end components shared across projects
Refactor legacy code, optimize queries, and improve response times
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews and CI/CD improvements
Document technical decisions, APIs, and specifications
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to scope and deliver features
Ensure software development best practices and timely delivery of product functionality
Own features end to end, from database design and APIs to the React/Vue user interface
Build and scale business-critical web applications and transform requirements into reliable, maintainable, high-performing software

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience with modern OOP PHP (8.x)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel
Strong knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem: Eloquent, Queues, Jobs, Events, Service Container, Middleware, Authentication
3+ years of production experience with React or Vue
Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills
Experience designing RESTful APIs, including authentication, validation, and error handling
Solid SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
Experience with schema design, indexing, and query optimization
Hands-on experience with Redis and queue-based architectures
Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright)
Comfortable with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in AI-assisted development environments (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and spoken English
