About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer Windows Server and/or Linux systems
- Manage Active Directory, Entra ID and Identity & Access Management
- Manage endpoint security, EDR/antimalware and system hardening
- Handle network security, including LAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS and network segmentation
- Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation and patch management
- Administer Microsoft 365 security
- Manage security configurations and baselines
- Support backup, recovery and infrastructure resilience
- Apply basic SIEM/SOC and security monitoring concepts
- Use PowerShell, Bash, Python or other infrastructure automation
- Manage virtualization and on-premises infrastructure
- Investigate security incidents and perform technical remediation
- Support the organization’s cybersecurity governance and compliance program
- Translate technical findings into security controls, documentation and remediation activities
- Report to the IT Section Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or Computer science or related field
- 2–5 years of professional IT experience, preferably beginning in System Administration, Network Administration, Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering, SOC operations or Security Engineering, with a clear progression toward cybersecurity
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Security certifications, Linux certifications, K8s certifications, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
- Professional working proficiency in English (written & verbal)
- Knowledge of OS environment (Linux knowledge is a plus)
- Foundation/Internal Auditor or equivalent are advantageous
- Virtualization Environments (ESXi, Proxmox)
- Asset and vulnerability management
- Evidence collection and audit preparation
- Security control implementation and testing
