About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop frontend mission-critical applications for unmanned systems
  • Engineer new UI features, including unit testing, integration, verification, and documentation
  • Comply with the engineering pipeline
  • Contribute properly and timely to the team’s task/issue management platform
  • Ensure timely deliveries
  • Undertake software problem solving and debugging
  • Collaborate with software development team members and technical experts
  • Report to the Software Engineering Section Manager of the Engineering & Systems Department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least five (5) years of proven working experience in Software Engineering
  • Bachelor/University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Greek
  • Expertise in UI/UX implementation
  • C++ with fair knowledge of the language specification and standard libraries and templates
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude to problem solving and ability to drive difficult issues to conclusion in support of team goals
  • Ability to lead aspects of design / delivery activities in accordance with project plans and processes
  • Very good planning and time-management skills
  • High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within the team
  • Interest in the defense domain
