About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and train the operations team and take responsibility for overall backend operations for the Philippines ecommerce management business
Manage day-to-day operational aspects including inventory, orders, and returns
Coordinate with 3rd Party Logistics Service Providers, ecommerce platforms, and clients to ensure successful fulfillment, orders, and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve daily receiving, fulfillment, and delivery issues; identify root causes and drive continuous improvements and mitigation plans
Work with internal and external stakeholders, including KAM, warehouse, marketplace, and client teams, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer and consumer experience
Drive daily and monthly operational data reports, analyze quantitative data, and propose data-backed improvement plans
Monitor inventory health and liaise with finance for reconciliation and cost allocations
Own fulfillment cost metrics and optimize costs
Implement regional initiatives and drive local projects to improve operations capabilities and performance efficiency
Develop and implement data visualization, dashboards, data analytics, and other strategies to generate actionable insights
Support teams in defining business processes, operational roadmaps, and associated system requirements
Establish and strengthen Standard Operating Procedures for operational models and category-specific requirements
Perform other relevant duties according to business needs
Drive a People First culture emphasizing open communication, empowerment, and recognition
Understand profit and loss, accounting functions, and the relationship between operational activities and decisions
Negotiate agreements with vendors and collaboration partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in any related field
7-10 years successful experience leading a large operations organization, especially from ecommerce corporate
Demonstrated success in the management of people and very strong leadership trait
Logical thinker with good analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to details and process driven
Well organized and good follow up skills
Able to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and fulfillment partners
Thrive in a fast-paced start-up and Ecommerce environment
