About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the trusted point of contact for French-speaking travellers from initial enquiry through departure
Provide personalised recommendations and advice on Intrepid's trips
Create tailored itineraries
Prepare quotes and convert enquiries into bookings
Ensure travellers enjoy a seamless journey
Work closely with Reservations, Contracting and Operations teams to drive growth in the French-speaking market
Support FIT and tailor-made travel requests
Contribute to French-speaking Tour Leader training
Assist with emergency passenger support when needed
Support the Sales team with English-speaking enquiries when French enquiry volumes are quieter

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous sales experience with the ability to achieve high conversion rates
Fluency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong destination and travel knowledge, particularly relating to the French market
Confidence using systems and technology, with a strong digital mindset
Excellent customer service and organisational skills
Experience working with French-speaking customers would be an added advantage
