About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support one of the company's largest banking-sector clients
- Embed with the customer's business and IT teams and own the change journey for internal business applications
- Engage with internal stakeholders across HR, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to elicit, challenge, and document requirements
- Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze internal processes and supporting applications to identify improvement, simplification, or automation opportunities
- Maintain end-to-end visibility from initial business demand through solution design, build, testing, go-live, and post-deployment support
- Partner with development teams, platform owners, and third-party SaaS vendors to ensure solutions are designed and configured correctly
- Coordinate and support UAT, validation, and quality assurance activities
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure adoption of delivered solutions
- Operate primarily in Agile / Scrum settings and support hybrid or waterfall delivery models when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related)
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst working on internal business applications, such as HR solutions, procurement platforms, or other custom or SaaS-based applications serving internal users
- Demonstrated experience authoring BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and modeling
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle — requirements, design, build coordination, testing, go-live, and post-deployment support
- Comfort working with both custom-developed applications and third-party SaaS solutions, including coordination with external vendors
- Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Authorized to work in the EU
- Proficient in Greek
- Willing to work on-site at the strategic client's location in central Athens
- Nice to have: exposure to the energy sector or other regulated industries
- Nice to have: experience with HR information systems, procurement / S2P platforms, ITSM tools, or document/workflow management systems
- Nice to have: familiarity with integrations between internal applications and core enterprise systems, such as ERP, identity providers, and data platforms
- Nice to have: understanding of basic data and reporting concepts, including databases, APIs, and BI tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
