About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide troubleshooting and application support for two Java-based portals and their web services.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and support service restoration.
Support backend, front-end, and web-service components.
Perform Tomcat restarts when required, following the client’s operational procedures.
Collaborate with the client’s technical stakeholders and document issues and resolutions.
Support two portals of a leading insurance company and their web services.
UI support is not included in the scope for one portal.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid professional experience in Java development.
Experience developing and maintaining applications using JSP (JavaServer Pages).
Good knowledge of JavaScript and web development technologies.
Practical experience designing and developing applications using Spring Boot.
Working knowledge of SQL, including querying and working with relational databases.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across web applications and web services.
Authorized to work in the EU.
Proficient in Greek.
Experience supporting production portals in an enterprise environment is a plus.
Experience with Apache Tomcat operations is a plus.
Familiarity with incident-management and application-support processes is a plus.
