About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions
Design, build and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications
Develop integrations using RESTful services, ORDS, SOAP and related middleware technologies
Resolve production issues and protect data integrity
Support reviews, testing, releases, and documentation
Evaluate tools, including AI-assisted engineering practices
Mentor team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
Communicate with customers to align requirements and delivery
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through development, testing, release, and production support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Five years of software engineering experience, including three with Oracle technologies
Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance-tuning expertise
Proven Oracle APEX development and customization experience
Solid knowledge of database design, data integrity, transactions, and secure coding
Experience with REST APIs, ORDS and SOAP
Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and modern delivery practices
Experience with responsible AI coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Eligibility to work within the EU
Fluency in Greek
Willingness to work on-site
Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or Oracle BI Publisher
