About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formalize and structure the company’s internal financial controlling processes
- Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations
- Coordinate and collaborate with the external accounting team
- Oversee company cash flow
- Support the CFO with yearly financial audits and business planning
- Handle client billing and debtor management, liaising with sales teams to confirm invoicing details and contracts
- Manage debtor and creditor processes, ensuring timely client payments and supplier payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and track bank payments across multiple currencies
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for management
- Support the legal team by reviewing contracts from a financial perspective and helping structure and execute internal legal processes
- Report to the CFO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed studies in Finance/Business with finance specialization
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the IT industry and mid-sized companies is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including IP activation and accruals
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
- Strong Excel skills
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to help build and configure the company’s ERP system
- Fluency in Hungarian and English
