About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across different application levels
Design test strategies and test plans for new features and application changes
Plan and coordinate testing cycles
Analyze functional requirements and specifications to identify appropriate testing scenarios
Log, track, and support the resolution of defects with development teams
Document test results, findings, and identified issues clearly and accurately
Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and other project stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
Support Business Analysis activities when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in manual testing of web applications
Strong experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Good knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing
Ability to understand functional specifications and complex business requirements
Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts
Experience with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
Ability to clearly document defects, test results, and findings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams
Previous experience in banking or fintech environments (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with regulatory and auditing requirements within financial services (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of or experience with test automation tools (Nice to Have)
Quality-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
Ability to identify issues and ensure applications meet business requirements
Ability to understand complex functional specifications and translate them into effective test scenarios
Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Structured and methodical approach to work
Proactive approach to improving testing processes and overall product quality
