About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain front-end automated test frameworks
Execute automated testing activities for web and mobile applications
Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
Analyse and troubleshoot issues identified during testing activities
Collaborate with development teams to improve application quality
Support Agile delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices and testing strategies
Participate in test planning, execution, defect analysis, and reporting
Support code reviews and improvements related to test automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in QA / Software Testing, with strong experience in Front-End Test Automation
Strong understanding of test automation principles and best practices
Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright
Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript
Experience testing large-scale, responsive web applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Experience with mobile application testing (nice to have)
ISTQB Certified Tester (nice to have)
Certified Test Automation Engineer (nice to have)
ISTQB Agile Tester or equivalent certification (nice to have)
Experience with API testing (nice to have)
Experience working in complex enterprise environments (nice to have)
Passion for front-end quality and user experience
Comfort working with modern automation frameworks
Comfort working in fast-paced Agile environments
Ownership of quality throughout the development lifecycle
