About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Liaise with Business Partners across Distribution functions to solicit in-depth requirements for solutions and enhancements
Prepare, review and maintain documented requirements for system and business-process enhancements
Own project management for smaller initiatives, including delivery status updates and risk and issue management
Collaborate with Distribution Data Office, Client Insights, Marketing Analytics and external vendors on project delivery
Partner with Technology colleagues on cross-functional deliverables
Provide consultative assistance to Engineering Run/Support teams on an ad-hoc basis
Develop and maintain business relationships and identify technology enablement and productivity opportunities
Use AI skills and tools to deliver business requirements, including building and maintaining GenAI Agents where appropriate
Support implementation of data mastering systems
Review data usage patterns to identify redundant or duplicated datasets for consolidation or retirement
Support migration from legacy systems to target architecture by mapping sources, producing data flow diagrams and expanding the data catalogue
Contribute to data governance, data quality and wider data management activities with internal and third-party technology partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in asset Management ideally as inhouse employee or as service provider
Experience with Transfer Agent operations or Distributor platform operations
Good understanding of how transactions in funds (subscriptions/redemotions) are processed
Understanding of how a CSD (like Clearstream or Euroclear) operate mutual fund transactions is advantageous
Deep exposure to data from Transfer Agents and back-office related systems for position and transaction data management is advantageous
Deep knowledge of data processing capabilities in Snowflake and using Snowflake tools such as Cortex Code for AI
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot or AWS Bedrock and other agentic capabilities
Knowledge of AWS services, APIs and DevOps is advantageous, or willingness to undertake training in these areas
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred, or commensurate relevant work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, customer-focused attitude and understanding of customer service fundamentals
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis
Structured, disciplined approach to work, with keen attention to detail and quality
Ability to analyze requirements and problems and propose innovative but workable solutions
Must comply with the firm's workplace model requiring at least four full days each week in the role's advertised office
