About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the operations and enhancement of financial application solutions
- Ensure the stability, performance, security, availability, and quality of services provided to users
- Engage, support, and develop an agile, multidisciplinary team
- Manage incidents, problems, operational risks, and service requests
- Plan and optimize team capacity based on operational needs and business priorities
- Prioritize and lead essential enhancements, optimizations, and changes
- Establish and maintain the operational and evolutionary roadmap for the solutions
- Coordinate major operational initiatives and align them with organizational priorities
- Ensure the operationalization and ownership of delivered solutions, including operational readiness, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and post-implementation support
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, particularly SaaS providers
- Provide leadership for application platforms and contribute to the evolution of practices, processes, tools, and ways of working
- Prepare or contribute to reporting, analyses, recommendations, and follow-ups related to performance, risks, costs, benefits, and prioritization
- Ensure compliance with policies, frameworks, obligations, and management practices, particularly in IT security, compliance, and governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, particularly information technology, information systems, business administration, or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in information technology
- Significant experience managing teams
- Experience operating, maintaining, and enhancing critical solutions or platforms in a complex environment
- Experience managing vendors, SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or financial application solutions
- Experience in service governance, commitment management, and performance monitoring
- Sound understanding of agile practices applied to solution operations and enhancement
- Sound understanding of incident and problem management, IT governance, security, continuous improvement, and roadmap planning
- Understanding of financial processes, business considerations, and the operational impacts associated with financial application solutions
- Demonstrated ability to translate technology issues into business impacts, prioritize in a constrained environment, and recommend realistic, structured, and value-generating scenarios
