Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in thermodynamics, reaction engineering, process design, transport phenomena, chemical kinetics, catalysis, materials science, and biochemical engineering
- Expertise in reactor optimization, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, phase equilibria, process safety, separation processes, polymer science, and industrial process control
- Clear, metacognitive communication and ability to show your work
- A PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related engineering field is ideal
- Peer-reviewed publications, process simulations, lab-scale or pilot-plant experience, or industry experience with Aspen Plus or COMSOL signal fit
