About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Converse with the language model in English and French on real-world environmental scenarios and theoretical questions
- Verify factual accuracy and logical consistency
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Document model failure modes
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- Challenge advanced language models on environmental topics including carbon accounting, life cycle analysis, environmental remediation, water and air quality monitoring, renewable resource management, environmental justice, and circular economy principles
- Help train AI for environmental education, regulatory compliance, and conservation efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in environmental science, climate change, environmental impact assessment, pollution control, ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation, sustainability metrics, and environmental policy
- Knowledge of regulations and practices in French-speaking regions
- Fluency in French
- Field or regulatory experience
- Familiarity with region-specific environmental assessments, sustainability reporting frameworks, and conservation strategies
- Clear, metacognitive communication and ability to show your work
- Ability to converse with the model in both English and French
- Master’s degree in environmental science, ecology, environmental engineering, or a closely related field is ideal
