About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule all radiology modality exams with patients by phone
- Provide every patient with a comfortable experience
- Thoroughly screen patients to determine appropriate exam type
- Relay pertinent examination information to patients
- Report to the Manager, Patient Access
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Previous medical scheduling preferred
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
