About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support administration, development, and continuous improvement of compensation structures, programs, and policies
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives in Benefits, HR Operations, Reporting, and other Total Rewards areas
  • Review salary increase proposals using labor market and internal equity analysis
  • Review new or revised job classifications and determine appropriate salary grade assignments
  • Provide market analyses and consult on pay recommendations for exempt and non-exempt employees with HRBPs and Recruiting
  • Partner on development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs covering wages, base salary, bonuses, and incentive structures
  • Evaluate and refine job descriptions against external benchmarks and internal career frameworks
  • Assess FLSA exemption classifications and recommend salary ranges
  • Lead compensation technology projects involving market pricing systems, job description management platforms, and automation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance; oversee compensation reporting and audits
  • Perform annual and ad hoc compensation analyses using national and global market data
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, charts, career path documents, compensation analytics, job evaluation findings, and pay structure recommendations
  • Facilitate or complete salary survey submissions
  • Optimize Compensation and HRIS programs and implement process efficiencies
  • Report directly to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field required.
  • 6-8 years Compensation at a high-growth company(ies) administering broad-based compensation with exempt and non-exempt roles
  • 6-8 years leading and supporting design of compensation architecture including job leveling and developing wage ranges
  • Deep knowledge of executive and non-executive compensation programs, including equity planning and practices, base salary, variable pay and performance management, job evaluation, data analysis, research, and predictive and project modeling
  • Strong analytical skills emphasizing key insights, trends, issue identification, and recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude; creative, flexible, consultative; strong sense of business needs and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to listen, use critical thinking, and communicate accurate information about processes, plans, and procedures collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information appropriately
  • Life Sciences experience preferred
  • International policy and compliance experience preferred
  • Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, standing or sitting, for prolonged periods
  • Clear and conceptual thinking, excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, discretion, stress management, multitasking, and deadline management
