About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic projects and business improvement initiatives
- Support the launch and mobilisation of three new operational sites
- Support site launches, customer implementations and growth plans
- Drive operational efficiency, profitability and service improvements
- Act as the key contact for project delivery and communications
- Build strong customer relationships, including with Marks & Spencer
- Provide project updates, reviews and performance reporting
- Streamline processes and implement automated reporting solutions
- Work with operational and data teams to drive measurable improvements
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement activities
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and performance
- Monitor risks, costs and delivery against objectives
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance
- Support sustainability initiatives and effective project governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Project management experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or operations
- Strong planning, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience delivering change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent qualification desirable
- Lean or Six Sigma experience desirable
- Experience within logistics, RTP, asset management, recycling or supply chain operations desirable
- Knowledge of process automation and performance reporting desirable
