Key responsibilities & impact

Define and drive front-end architecture strategy for enterprise-grade web applications
Provide hands-on technical leadership and solution architecture
Design scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable UI solutions across multiple products and platforms
Define reusable ReactJS component models with modularity, scalability, performance, and service-layer integration
Analyze requirements and design and develop software according to defined processes
Troubleshoot interface software and debug application code
Resolve technical project issues
Develop UI using ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, ReactStrap, and media queries
Implement state management using Redux
Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON responses using GET, POST, and PUT
Build interfaces using grids, charts, and UI widget libraries
Use Node.js as a development platform
Design, develop, and implement web applications while adhering to coding standards
Build and run appropriate unit-test scripts
Partner with QA to own product quality
Train and coach project-group members and support knowledge management
Lead and mentor teams
Implement AI automated and Agentic AI solutions
Work with cloud and DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments
Apply micro-frontend, domain-driven, event-driven, and component-based architecture patterns
Work with design systems and enterprise UI platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of software engineering experience with 8+ years focused on UI/front-end development
3+ years of experience in UI Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technical Leadership roles
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale applications in the Banking domain
Experience implementing Agentic AI solutions
Deep expertise in modern front-end technologies
Strong architectural design experience
ReactJS expertise
In-depth knowledge of ES6 and related add-on libraries
State management using Redux
JavaScript unit testing with Jest/Enzyme
UI widget libraries such as Material-UI or equivalent
HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
Responsive development using ReactStrap/Media Queries
REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and service-layer integration
Node.js as a development platform
Git or Subversion source control
Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge
Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
Docker and containerized deployments
OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and web security best practices
Performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG)
Strong visual design sense and familiarity with branding guidelines
Good communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be well organized and self-motivated
