About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct secondary research across industries, markets, consumers, competitors, culture and emerging trends
  • Gather and synthesize quantitative, qualitative, behavioural, competitive and secondary evidence
  • Analyze survey results, interviews and other research to identify patterns, opportunities and implications
  • Support hypothesis development and distinguish strategically important insights
  • Connect evidence across sources and translate learning into client actions
  • Develop clear, concise and visually compelling presentations
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops and working sessions
  • Support preparation of client deliverables
  • Collaborate with Strategy3 colleagues, Ipsos researchers and subject-matter experts across disciplines and markets
  • Support day-to-day management of client engagements, project plans, milestones, deliverables, inputs, risks and dependencies
  • Manage multiple workstreams and priorities against fast-moving timelines
  • Contribute to proposals, pitches, thought leadership and initiatives supporting the Strategy3 practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with demonstrated academic achievement in business, economics, marketing, psychology, social sciences, communications or related disciplines
  • 0–2 years of professional experience; relevant internships, co-op placements, academic projects or early-career experience in consulting, strategy, research, insights, marketing or innovation considered assets
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity about businesses, brands, consumers, markets and emerging changes
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, connect disparate ideas and turn complexity into a clear story
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Comfort with ambiguity and initiative to move work forward
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with colleagues across disciplines and seniority levels
  • Openness to feedback, desire to learn and ability to apply learning quickly
