About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop materials and services for UK HTA and HEOR project delivery, including dossier writing, early HTA scientific advice, HTA landscape reviews, literature reviews, health economic model development and adaptations, submission support, and pricing negotiation support
- Contribute to multi-country HTA and HEOR projects across different markets and product types
- Develop strategic HTA knowledge and skills, particularly in UK HTA processes and requirements
- Collaborate with internal project teams, client teams, technical consultants, Market Access, Patient-Centered Solutions, HTA Accelerator Solutions, database studies, and local teams across IQVIA’s global network
- Support HTA thought leadership through conference abstracts, posters, white papers, and guidance of interns on HTA-focused thesis topics
- Develop knowledge of global HTA and HEOR offerings to support business development opportunities
- Work flexibly across multiple projects and complete assigned tasks within core company working hours and deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a relevant discipline (e.g., HTA, health economics, economics, life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, medicine, pharmacy, etc.) AND at least one year of relevant experience or internships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic mindset and ability to identify potential issues and suggest solutions
- Baseline organisational skills and time management
- Apt interpersonal skills and ability to establish relationships with internal team members and clients
- Fluency in conversational and business English
- Ability to demonstrate English fluency through slide deck development, report writing, and presentations
- Some knowledge of HTA and health economics methodologies
- Experience or familiarity with research design, methodology, conduct and reporting is desirable
- Understanding of evidence-based healthcare, critical appraisal, and interpretation and synthesis of healthcare research evidence is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
- Understanding of statistical methods used in clinical trials is an advantage
- Quantitative skills, including biostatistics and health economic modelling methods
- Knowledge of statistical software packages such as STATA and R is desirable but not essential
