About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage medium to large scale projects within the Infrastructure, Platforms & Software (IPS) program
- Achieve technology optimization goals across the enterprise
- Assume responsibility and ownership of projects, ensuring high-quality, timely, on-budget deliverables in accordance with the plan
- Manage projects across IPS, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and moving forward to achieve project goals
- Work closely with the Technology Optimisation team
- Participate in discussions with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to determine project scope, timelines, and feasibility
- Manage, monitor, and report on multiple projects to Technology Optimisation and Executive Management
- Ensure successful collaboration of internal stakeholders throughout the life of projects
- Serve as primary contact while leading assigned project problem-solving and resolution efforts
- Record and document project activities
- Produce, distribute, and present report/presentation materials to Technology Optimisation management and executive management
- Resolve and escalate issues in a professional and timely fashion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, business, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 7 years of experience in a relevant function such as clinical operations, applied math, IT, data management, business, laboratory, or project management
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data capture and compilation tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project leadership and/or project planning skills
- Strong attention to detail/quality control skills while driving initiatives to closure
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Competent presentation and interpersonal skills meeting the needs of all levels within the organization up to and including Executive Management
- Ability to innovatively solve problems with demonstrated success delivering desired results according to quality guidelines and timelines
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, operations staff, clients, and executive management members
