About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage proactively and appropriately with key stakeholders to support IQVIA’s commercially focused business activities covering professional services, information, and data offerings
- Work collaboratively with the international Key Account Community, Client Partner, Service Line leads, Commercial Technology Sales teams, and US Sales Partner
- Maintain and establish professional relationships across the client organization, particularly headquarters
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of client business priorities, organizational culture, product portfolio, pipeline, and spend/budget priorities
- Manage systematic client feedback and diffuse tensions and complaints from IQVIA engagements
- Lead operational management and oversight of IQVIA’s commercial portfolio activities for Netherlands and international markets
- Own commercial SRM and governance functional-level reviews and bi-annual strategic business reviews
- Contribute to enterprise-level governance and own internal and external governance reporting
- Oversee commercial performance and financial metrics, including internal financial reporting, rebates, and accounts receivable
- Maintain knowledge of recent wins, pipeline, and strategic opportunities
- Manage DSO and oversee purchase-order and invoicing processes with IQVIA and client teams
- Serve as contact for client RFIs and ad hoc business or procurement requests
- Build collaborative relationships with Service Line leads, Client Partner, and EMEA Commercial Technology Sales
- Facilitate sales and business development success by tailoring commercial portfolio offers to client priorities and performance
- Shape account planning with Service Line leads, Client Business Partner, and Global Account Director
- Stay current on IQVIA’s commercial portfolio and Connected Intelligence offerings
- Develop relationships across the international account community and share intelligence, feedback, best practices, and success stories
- Ensure sales and business development teams understand MSAs, commercial terms, and vendor status
- Identify opportunities for relevant marketing and thought-leadership engagement
- Manage the annual Strategic Management Review conference
- Facilitate peer-to-peer introductions between client teams and relevant IQVIA experts
- Identify strategic discussions and major opportunities for IQVIA based on client priorities
- Bring relevant ideas and success stories from other major accounts to the Sales and Account Management community
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in Life Sciences Consulting or with a provider serving the life sciences industry
- Experience leading commercial, strategy, transformation, project management, or account growth engagements for pharma clients
- Strong business development, sales, and client-facing responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and grow accounts
- Comfortable influencing senior client stakeholders and procurement teams
- Experience operating in matrixed consulting organizations
- Able to create executive presentations and proposals independently
- Deep understanding of pharma commercial models through consulting exposure, not necessarily through direct pharma employment
