About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support an IQVIA pharmaceutical client partnership
  • Support integration of cardiovascular brands into EHR systems across priority accounts
  • Identify and address barriers affecting patient care, access, treatment processes, patient identification, and end-user experience
  • Share Electronic Health Record insights to enhance patient care and support population health approaches across inpatient and outpatient sites of care
  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Medical, and cross-functional account teams
  • Support healthcare stakeholders including end users, clinicians, informatics, Quality, Population Health, and IT teams
  • Identify potential gaps and barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs and health systems
  • Problem-solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps
  • Identify workflow barriers and recommend scalable solutions
  • Work collaboratively with customers, licensed clinicians, IT informatics teams, Quality EHR Managers, and analysts
  • Align resources to develop comprehensive plans by priority institution
  • Complete workflow assessments to identify potential gaps in care across the patient journey
  • Act as a matrix-team Health IT Specialist subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
  • Share insights on optimizing EHR systems across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Minimum of 4 years working in design, build, and/or testing expertise and experience with EHR software
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and/or McKesson preferred
  • Experience within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, software build, and/or optimization techniques
  • Ability to discover issues, prioritize, and problem solve to resolution
  • Willingness/ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and flexibility
  • Ability to consistently travel overnight
  • Preferred: Master's degree
  • Preferred: Clinical IT experience, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical or Life Science Health IT Specialist experience
  • Preferred: B2B or software sales experience
