About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell and provide services to healthcare customers using organization tools, techniques, and intellectual capital.
  • Maximize sales growth, secure repeat business, and gain customer loyalty within assigned therapeutic or specialty areas.
  • Target, promote, and sell specialized products or services; identify target customers and achieve sales targets.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on specialty product features and benefits versus competitors to increase prescriptions or use.
  • Achieve assigned activity goals and territory targets.
  • Identify target customers and physician profiles; maintain and analyze customer records.
  • Conduct sales interviews, pre-call planning, preparation, and post-call self-analysis.
  • Explain product clinical efficacy, features, and benefits.
  • Manage objections and issues, escalating sensitive or complex queries.
  • Maintain records and report daily calls using territory management and CRM systems.
  • Coordinate specialty-area group events in compliance with country legislation.
  • Inform the Line Manager about competitor activity and market changes.
  • Attend training and seminars and read relevant publications.
  • Maintain company equipment in good condition.
  • Share experiences and techniques to support sales training of colleagues.
  • Discuss and document assigned activity, KPI tools, and targets with the Line Manager.
  • Complete career development courses and additional customer-required training.
  • Report identified Adverse Events according to applicable processes and guidelines.
  • Project a professional company image and comply with the Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Require 1 - 2 years of prior relevant experience in Medical Sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Business or related field
  • Good understanding of Healthcare Market and related procedures.
  • Fluency software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct face to face presentations to customers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Cardiometabolic/Insulin/Biosimilar product experience will be desirable.
