About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and recruiting priorities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, and other channels
Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and anticipated pharmaceutical sales openings
Review applications and resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess candidates against position requirements
Present qualified candidates to internal stakeholders with timely, accurate, and thorough documentation
Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the selection process
Manage recruiting activities in Workday, including posting requisitions, documenting candidate activity, updating statuses, and supporting offer processing
Keep prospective candidates engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process
Monitor recruiting progress, follow up on outstanding actions, and adjust priorities as business needs change
Meet or exceed daily and weekly recruiting activity metrics and objectives established by management
Collaborate across departments to support an efficient, inclusive, and positive hiring experience
Maintain compliance with applicable employment practices, co-employment requirements, and confidentiality standards
Stay current on recruiting trends, market conditions, and talent acquisition best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or staffing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience using an applicant tracking system is required
Prior experience recruiting pharmaceutical sales professionals is strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Strong candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pipeline management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization, and follow-through skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt quickly to changing business needs
Sound judgment and a high degree of discretion when handling confidential information
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with individuals from varied backgrounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency with standard computer applications
Ability to communicate by phone and work at a computer for extended periods
