About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execute and support automated regression testing across multiple product releases
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid feedback
- Create, manage, and track defects, test cases, and test execution results using JIRA and TestRail
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate test automation development, script maintenance, troubleshooting, and productivity
- Analyze, document, and resolve software defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and testing efficiency
- Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD processes
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect and project tracking and TestRail for test case management and test execution
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve automation scripting efficiency, code quality, test creation, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with both onshore and offshore teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies
- Experience with automated regression testing and test framework development preferred
- Working knowledge of IQVIA's Proprietary Automation Framework (PAF) strongly preferred for internal candidates
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
