About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience
Work at all layers of the application stack, including front-end user interface and backend development
Analyze user requirements and make decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision
Support and potentially lead low-complexity projects, including development of small to medium-sized system components
Review functional specifications and assigned validation deliverables
Provide peer support and help onboard new Associate Software Engineers
Design, configure, develop, enhance, and support Salesforce-based solutions for Patient Support Programs, AllCare, and Market Dynamics initiatives
Develop and support applications on the Salesforce platform
Configure and customize Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Custom Objects, Permission Sets, and Security Configuration
Build scalable and maintainable cloud-based solutions supporting patient engagement and operational workflows
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities
Develop integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and web services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
4-5 years of experience in Salesforce platform development and cloud-based application support
Healthcare domain experience (Patient Hub/Patient Support Programs) and familiarity with Schedulo or Salesforce Field Service scheduling platforms
Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
Experience with Apex Development
Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Experience with SOQL / SOSL
Experience with Salesforce Flows & Process Automation
Experience with Custom Objects, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes
Knowledge of Salesforce Security & Sharing Model
Experience with REST APIs
Experience with JSON/XML
Experience with Salesforce Platform Events
Experience with third-party system integrations
