About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support delivery of AIGCC’s Nature and Land Use workstream, advancing investor understanding and integration of nature-related risks and opportunities across Asia
  • Lead priority projects and support investor engagement on nature and land use issues, particularly in high-impact sectors
  • Collaborate with domestic and international institutional investors, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and partners
  • Lead planning and delivery of the Nature and Land Use Working Group and related masterclasses
  • Facilitate peer exchange among investors and translate insights into practical, actionable member outputs
  • Design and deliver strategic engagements with policymakers and key stakeholders, including policy roundtables
  • Build and maintain relationships with global and domestic investors
  • Identify investor gaps and AIGCC support needs on relevant nature-related themes
  • Lead and author sectoral and company-level research reports assessing financial materiality of nature-related risks and opportunities
  • Support investor decision-making and stewardship in high-impact sectors across Asia
  • Prepare funder reports and program updates
  • Develop member briefings, research publications, case studies, and other communications materials
  • Represent AIGCC in external forums, events, and stakeholder engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Environmental or Sustainability Studies, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience across sectors such as food and agriculture, consulting, international organizations, think tanks, or financial institutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in nature-related investment research, sustainable finance, ESG, or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in investment analysis is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of nature-related risks and land use issues in Asia
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including policymakers and/or institutional investors in Southeast or East Asia
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and coordinate across geographies, time zones, and stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to translate technical topics into practical, investor-relevant insights
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating discussions and stakeholder engagement
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as RSPO, TNFD, or related sustainability standards for nature is desirable
  • Experience in investor stewardship, ESG integration, or sustainable finance is desirable
