About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source mission-critical data center equipment
Plan, execute, and manage competitive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
Support mission-critical data center construction and expansion projects
Develop, implement, and continuously improve regional and global category sourcing strategies
Create process workflows focused on cycle-time reduction
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams
Align sourcing strategies with budget, continuity of supply, and project delivery timelines
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers
Track cost savings and cost avoidance metrics
Deliver data-driven reporting to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement
Proven experience managing complex RFx processes
Proficiency in developing standard operating procedures
Proficiency in gathering savings metrics
Proficiency in creating data-driven reports in ambiguous work environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to present to executive stakeholders
Direct experience in a data center or infrastructure service provider environment is considered a strong plus
